energi PR welcomes Theodora Samiotis as a Senior Advisor expanding its corporate and public policy bench strength
Montreal, Quebec, July 2, 2021 – Canadian public relations consulting firm, energi PR Inc., is pleased to announce that seasoned communications and public affairs practitioner Theodora Samiotis has joined the agency as a Senior Advisor within its corporate and healthcare practices. Theodora began her communications career more than 25 years ago at energi PR and went on to assume increasingly senior and diverse positions in the private and public sectors.

About Theodora Samiotis
As Director of Communications & Public Affairs in Canada for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer), Theodora developed and implemented public relations programs for the successful launch of four new products in an 18-month period including the first-ever televised advertising campaign for the birth control pill in Canada. She was the firm’s point person on industry issues including Federal policy recommendations, and built and managed stakeholder relationships. She also acted as chief corporate spokesperson guiding reputational and crisis communications nationally.
More recently, within her Consulting practice, Theodora has also worked to identify and mobilize patient groups for rare diseases as well as in brain research, including ALS and Parkinson’s, on behalf of Corporate and Foundation clients.
She also has a deep understanding of the workings of the federal government and health policy gained during her six years on Parliament Hill, first as a Legislative Assistant for a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons and then as Special Assistant to the Minister of National Defence of Canada.
Theodora recently served two terms as an elected Councillor for the City of Westmount, where her experience included stakeholder and community relations as well as engagement with provincial and federal governments and regulatory bodies.
Based in Montreal, Theodora is an Adjunct faculty member at Concordia University where she has taught courses in Public Affairs Strategies. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Greek.
